A wartime young lady of fashion,

Much noted for wit and for passion,

Is said to have said

As she jumped into bed,

"Here's one thing those bastards can't ration."

Kannski žaš sé plįss fyrir bókina eftir allt saman. Svo var žaš bókin Strange Deaths. Žar mį lesa um lķf, dauša og skįldskap:

In 1837, Edgar Allan Poe wrote The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym, in which four shipwrecked and starving sailors drew lots to pick who should be eaten by the others. The loser was called Richard Parker. In 1884, the yacht Mignonette was shipwrecked in the south Atlantic. Four sailors survived for 20 days with only two tins of parsnips and a captured turtle. One of them was a 17-year old boy who was eventually killed and eaten by his fellow crew members. The survivors were finally rescued and returned to England, where two of them were sentenced to death for the murder, but immediately reprieved. The victim's name was Richard Parker.

Žaš er bara ekki hęgt aš henda bókum.
